What are climate spas?

To be granted the title of climate spa, emissions and pollutants in the air must be regularly measured throughout the year. Subsequently, all measured values are averaged and assessed. Mariánské Lázně has been striving for the status of climate spa since May 2021. Since then, the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute has monitored the air in the city several times, once every quarter. The measured values have consistently been well below the limit values set by the legislation of the Czech Republic.

The healing climate also acts as an effective preventive measure! Climate spas have proven to be effective in preventing certain health conditions. They help strengthen the body and restore health, work capacity, and performance.

How is treatment carried out?

Climate spas are places where treatment occurs through climatotherapy. During therapy, the body is typically trained, gradually increasing its performance. This treatment involves spending time in fresh air and progressively challenging the body.

A stay in climate spas is often complemented by inhaling from the Forest Spring and drinking therapy using the Rudolf Spring.

Another component is therapeutic physical education, focusing on various respiratory exercises conducted by professionally trained physiotherapists. This rehabilitation is tailored individually based on the client's current health status.
