Pastorale, translated as shepherd's song, is not only used as a musical genre in its own right, but can also refer to the character of the music. It is particularly characteristic of English folk music - you can hear the awakening of nature in spring, the singing of birds in summer, the fall of leaves in autumn and the melancholy of winter. What other instrument than the oboe can represent all these moods in a single piece? Our oboist Veronika Faglicová and the entire string group under the baton of Martin Peschik will take you to the English countryside with its unique atmosphere.
