Connected by colour

Exhibition "Connected by colour " presents the work of women who attend Kristýna Harantová's courses in art techniques at the Fryderyk Chopin Art School in Mariánské Lázně. The exhibition is a loose continuation of the exhibition from 2022, which took place in the Municipal Theatre of Mariánské Lázně. The exhibition will mainly feature paintings in acrylic and oil paints varied with other artistic techniques such as watercolour, linocut or drypoint. There will be a variety of subjects ranging from still lifes, flowers, animal and figurative motifs, to copies or paraphrases of well-known and lesser-known artists. Some of the participants have been attending art classes since their beginning. The evolution in technique and choice of themes can be traced in these students.
