Pluhův bor
A pine wood on a serpentinite base between the villages of Prameny and Mnichov.
The reservation protects the most extensive naturally-occurring serpentinite pine wood in the Slavkovský Forest with mixed spruce and a number of smaller rock formations. In the sub-growth of the pine wood, rarer species that prefer a serpentinite subsoil are found – bell-heather, low milkwort, forest sweet-william. The rock formations host myriad rare species of fern such as serpentinite spleenwort, false spleenwort, a serpentinite variety of common polypody, and even grape-fern and St. Bernard’s lily.
