Fryderyk Chopin Memorial Museum
The Fryderyk Chopin Memorial Museum is situated on the second floor of the Chopin House at Hlavní 47, Mariánské Lázně.
This museum has been opened to the public since 1960. In the first section you will find artefacts and information about Chopin’s life (1810 - 1849). You can learn about his time in Bohemia and about the Wodzinsky family. The second part of the museum presents the Fryderyk Chopin Society, a member of the International Federation of Chopin Societies, and highlights its publishing and exhibition activities.
The memorial is once again open after the reconstruction of the Chopin House, which took place from 2020 to 2023. Tickets can be purchased at the Tourist Information Center.
The Fryderyk Chopin Society also manages a repository and library dedicated to Chopin and the Chopin Festival in the Chopin House, where staff are available to all interested parties every Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
