Tourist Attractions

"Skalnikovy sady" park dominates the town and is one of the most popular among tourists. It was created at the end of the 19th century at the same time as the town.

The Church of St Anna is the most important historical site in Velká Hleďsebe, a village located close to Mariánské Lázně. In 2011 the church celebrated its centenary. It's a neo-Romanesque building completed in 1911 by Josef Forberich of Mariánské Lázně.

The director of the local theatre Julius Laska had this chapel built in 1909 in memory of his mother. It is a small, pretty, neo-Gothic building set against a forest backdrop.

This place of worship was built in the neo-Byzantine style between 1844 and 1848.

The Anglican Church is the work of London architect William Burges and was built in 1879 by Friedrich Zickler.

Visitors can enjoy not only artworks but also film screenings dedicated to the life and work of the exhibiting artists. The combination of 19th-century architecture with modern art creates a unique atmosphere for an unforgettable cultural experience. The gallery’s curator is Alena Mrovcová.
