The spa forests nature trail in Mariánské Lázně presents a wide selection of topics and focuses on spa care, history, geology, mining, forestry, zoology, botany and ecology. Some 23 stations are spread out over 5km of forest trails where info boards are packed with interesting information.

The park is spreads out from the Ferdinand Spring Colonnade. In addition Ferdinand Spring itself, which bubbles up in a glass structure, you can admire a statue of a girl with a flower by M. Eibl called "Spring" .

An elegant one-storey tower used to stand here. It was erected in 1847 but the surrounding forests had overgrown it by 1879. Only a sign now gives any indication the buidling once stood here.

As you walk through this part of the Slavkovský Forest, you may wonder what that rotten smell is. It comes from small rifts which host no life. Bleached skulls of field mice and forest birds, together with a myriad of insects grimly complete the picture.

In 2010 the cinema Slavia underwent a large technical modernization. This upgrade included acquiring new equipment for both audio and video including 3D technology. This was the first single auditorium cinema in the Czech Republic to instal the most up to date Dolby Surround 7.1 audio system. The interior of the cinema was totally renovated.

Visitors can find the Waldstein Monument behind the headquarters of the Mariánské Lázně spa company. It was built in 1836 in honor of an illustrious visitor Earl Ernest von Waldstein-Wartenberg.
