The town is situated on the railway line linking Cheb with Pilsen and Prague. Trains leave from Prague's main station (Hlavní nádraží) to Mariánské Lázně around once every 2 hours. The fastest way to reach the town is by high-speed Pendolino train that runs twice a day.
Mariánské Lázně is also connected to Karlovy Vary by a local line. Trains run every two hours and the journey takes one hour 40 minutes.
