Speedway track
The speedway track was originally built for horse and dog racing in 1922 and brought a new interest into the sports life of the town. The track also during this early time had stables on site for more than 120 horses. Later, the speedway track was used for motorcycle and small car racing.Every meeting was a big event for this small town.

The Mariánské Lázně long speedway track is the only one in the Czech Republic. The track is one of the hosts tracks of the world speedway championships and held its first of these championship meetings in 1972 which was interrupted some years later.
