Bear Spring

This spring is famous for its stone statue of a bear created by the sculptor Vítězslav Eibl. The spring has been known about since the Middle Ages when it was called Bears Lair. The spring once rose through the stump of a tree however a pipe was used to move the spring a few meters lower down for better access. The initial problem with this spring was that it absorbed ground contaminants from the surface water.
